In a recent CMTC manufacturing survey, respondents identified energy costs as one of their most pressing problems. With escalating electricity and gas costs, manufacturers are looking for ways to use energy in the production process more efficiently.

To combat higher energy costs, CMTC has contracted with the major California Utilities to provide a unique program and incentives to reduce energy costs for manufacturers and distributors. The VeSM Advantage Plus Program™ is CMTC’s proven proprietary approach to measure energy use, identify manufacturing process cost reduction opportunities and conduct process improvement events resulting in verified energy savings. As part of the program, CMTC has developed several energy saving tools and techniques including; consumption audits, current and future state manufacturing process maps, data collection templates and savings verification reports to identify, maximize and document energy savings.
