Founded in San Diego 2004, Component Surfaces provides customized plating processing services to manufacturers in the electronics, medical, defense and other industries where high performance materials are used. Many of our customers require significant development efforts to bring their products to market. Component Surfaces typically operates from development to volume production.

Products and Services

Component Surfaces provides plating onto base materials including ceramics, plastics, metal-patterned ceramics, high-performance metals such as refractory metals, copper, kovar and other specialty materials such as pyrolytic graphite. Plated deposits include electroless gold, copper, palladium, nickel, silver and electrolytic gold, nickel, copper, silver, tin, indium and others. Support processes including high temperature controlled atmosphere sintering, selective plating and abrasive blasting are also available.

Manufacturing Processes

Plating processing, masking, sintering, blasting, stripping, cleaning, measuring and inspection services are provided.
