Manufacturing Processes
Our factory is adjacent to our 12, 000 square foot showroom. We start framing with 25 gauge galvanized track and stud steel and provide more steel than is required to ensure the stability of the structure is always intact. Hardie Backer board is used to enclose the framing and is secured with stainless steel screws. The final phase of framing requires we adhere trex board to the base of the island. Trex is a decking board that is water proof and protects the structure from sitting directly on the ground. Small spaces allow for water to pass through, so drainage is never an issue. At this stage the client returns to the factory and selects location of lights and outlets and signs off on framing. Tile is set and leveled professionally with zero grout lines and an extremely strong mortar that assures tiles remain intact and are then bull nosed by hand. Finally the stucco is applied and the project is ready for delivery by our own professionals.
