Dynamic Fabrication Inc.

CMTC partnered with DFI to create a training curriculum that would align with the company’s focus areas: customer requirements and continuous improvement. Over a 12-week period, CMTC consultants delivered 40 hours of blueprint reading training to 17 employees.

CMTC helped DFI access California Employment Training Panel (ETP) funds to offset the training costs as well as provided ETP program management and administrative assistance. In addition, CMTC offered consulting, technical support, and account management services both onsite at DFI’s Santa Ana facilities and offsite at CMTC offices.

Bazz Houston International

CMTC developed and provided customized training programs in 2018 to address BHI’s workforce skills needs. The training programs focused on several areas:

  • AS9100 Internal Auditor training to support AS9100 recertification and client retention. Key employees were trained in auditing techniques, requirements of AS9100, documenting audit findings and writing corrective actions.
  • Blueprint Reading and math skills training to improve quality through the reduction in rework in fabrication.
  • Lean Manufacturing training to improve the knowledge and skills to apply Lean methods to target improved efficiencies and cost reductions. Firetect Flame Retardants

CMTC began working with Firetect in 2009, providing support over the years through multiple projects, each one building upon the other to support the company’s strategies. CMTC provided marketing and sales services in the form of assistance in developing export strategies via the ExporTech program and, with the support of Department of Commerce partners, helped to avoid export issues that arose from inquiries for private labeling in foreign countries. Tactical assistance was provided for branding and customer outreach in two forms: CMTC reached out to local business journals for articles on Firetect and its products and also provided assistance through CMTC’s California Manufacturers Accelerator (CMA) BizBytes® program which included messaging design, customer and prospect list development and execution of digital ...

LGM Soil Amendments

CMTC provided website design and development services, with the goal of creating one consistent layout, a user-friendly navigation structure, and a fully responsive design optimized for any device. CMTC’s consultant linked LGM’s existing social media accounts as well as their reference accounts, such as partner logos and memberships, to help improve the user experience on the website. In addition to website design and development, photography services were utilized to capture staff, executive, and product photos. CMTC’s consultant also led a complete rebranding, making sure to retain LGM’s 1946 roots in the design concepts that were created. Bryant Fuel Systems

BFS engaged CMTC to assist in planning the move, help design new processes that would incorporate automated equipment, and assist in developing a strategic plan with financial projections that would enable it to obtain the finances needed to make the move.  CMTC also helped by introducing BFS to the Cal Competes program managed by the Governor’s Office of Economic Development.  This program provides California income tax credits to companies that agree to remain in California and relocate to an area of high unemployment within the state.  CMTC provided assistance in completing the application on behalf of BFS and worked with management in locating alternative sites within California.
