California’s E3 Program

Economy, Energy, and Environment

Supporting Manufacturing Leadership through Sustainability

Sustainable manufacturing resources now available for local manufacturers.

A federally supported, and locally implemented program to tune up, strengthen and sustain Southern California manufacturers has officially launched.  E3: Economy, Energy & Environment is a framework of local public-private partnerships that coordinate and strategically target federal and local resources to propel manufacturers towards efficient, competitive and sustainable business practices.

Small- and medium-sized enterprises are invited to benefit from a comprehensive set of assessments and recommendations in:

  • Lean and Green manufacturing
  • Pollution prevention
  • Energy, water and materials efficiency
  • Business excellence
  • Worker safety

E3 is available to facilities with 500 or fewer employees who are interested in identifying and correcting inefficiencies in their operations, businesses practices, and environmental management.  Contact: John Anderson, Director, CMTC at 310-263-3023 or anderson@cmtc.com.  For information, visit http://www2.epa.gov/e3
