Dual-Fuel
Clean Air Power has pioneered the move towards natural gas by developing Dual-Fuel㢠technology. Benefits include significant fuel cost savings for operators and lower carbon emissions ŰŇ with no compromise on diesel engine performance.
Dual-Fuel㢠systems have been developed for commercial vehicle operators as an after-market, retro-fit called Genesis and Genesis EDGE, but also as a fully integrated OEM technology. For Genesis trucks, the electronic control system communicates with the vehicle control system, regulating fuel supply while retaining all vehicle systems such as cruise control, traction control and electronic gear shifting.
Interfaced Dual-Fuel㢠technology works in partnership with the OEM engine. The control system is directly interfaced with the manufacturer's engine controller, giving ultimate control to the Dual-Fuel system. This delivers the highest levels of performance and gas substitution with the lowest certified emissions.

And for selling them to the world's most discerning clients for the most demanding commercial vehicle applications. They are the cornerstone for helping achieve real reductions in emissions from road transport, a concern for business, governments and wider society. These includes greenhouse gas emissions such as carbon dioxide, a by-product of burning fossil fuels. But also air quality emissions, such as carbon monoxide (CO), oxides of nitrogen (NOx) and diesel particulates (or soot).
