Fermionics Opto-Technology was founded and incorporated under the laws of the State of California in 1991. We are engaged in the design, fabrication, and sale of InGaAs photodiodes for optical communications, test and measurement, remote sensing, and medical applications.

Products and Services

Fermionics Opto-Technology manufactures InGaAs photodiodes for optical communications, test instrumentation, sensing, and medical applications. Photosensitive diameters range from 30 ĺľm to 5 mm. Package options include standard and miniature pigtails, receptacle connectors, TO-headers, and ceramic submounts. Photodiode arrays are offered for fiber-ribbon coupling and spectroscopy applications.

Manufacturing Processes

Fermionics Opto-Technology maintains a full semiconductor process facility for the fabrication of InGaAs photodiode chips. All assembly and packaging is done in-house, including fiber-pigtail assembly.
