While solid carbon/epoxy panels are our most popular product, composite panels are available in a wide variety of core constructions, materials and surface finishes. KCI has CNC routing and machining capabilities which allow us to provide custom sized flat panels and finished components. KCI can also provide short manufacturing runs of vacuum molded and machined components.

Products and Services

Solid Laminated Panels of 100% carbon/epoxy construction are our most popular and cost effective product line. These panels are produced using unidirectional carbon fibers or woven graphite in the core of the laminate. This style of construction produces a panel with uniform thickness, consistent appearance, unparalleled flatness and high durability. The strength and stiffness of each layer of the laminate closely follows the direction of fiber in that layer. By varying the direction of each layer of fiber, we can ‰ŰĎtune‰Ű the physical characteristics and engineering performance of the panel.

Components machined from laminated panels provide a unique alternative to injection molded components. New designs can be quickly prototyped without the financial burden of new tooling. Final designs can be quickly and cost-effectively ramped up to production quantities. CNC routing capability for prototype and medium quantity production runs. KCI can provide custom and short-run fabrication of complex molded components.
