Manufacturing Processes
Our first step is gathering ideas for a potential product. The ideas generated are then evaluated by a company executive. Rough estimates are made of an idea's potential in terms of sales, production costs, profit potential, competitors' response and customer response to the new product.
Once an idea has been approved, a prototype is developed for testing. Because our company deals with data storage products, the new product has to be tested for compatibility with the latest OS or hardware
When the new product design is approved, sourcing for the components and parts is done. As soon as the source is determined, the parts are ordered and shipped to our main location in Torrance, CA.
Product assembly starts as soon as all parts are complete. Marketing for the new product starts around the same time.
