Costal Cartilage Graft Cutter (UCI cartilage cutter) Revision rhinoplasty surgery often requires precisely cut rib cartilage tissue to reconstruct the framework of the nose. Most of these grafts are hand carved, and are irregular in thickness. For over 70 years, plastic surgeons have tried to build a device that cuts costal(rib) cartilage in thin slabs with high precision. We've come up with a solution. Our cartilage cutter produces uniform costal cartilage grafts for facial reconstructive surgery. EarTrumpet for iPhone EarTrumpet is an iOS-based hearing application suite that provides user-administered hearing test and customizable personal sound amplification tool. EarTrumpet was originally created by Dr. Allen Foulad with the support of the Otolaryngology department at the University of California, Irvine. Recently, EarTrumpet has been tested in a clinical study comparing its performance to conventional audiometry in clinical settings.
