ELPRO was founded in 1976 and is a family-owned business. We are one of the lowest cost independent suppliers of elevator guide shoes in the USA. Our guide shoes are in use at the Statue of Liberty, Dodger Stadium, and in thousands of hotel and apartment building elevators around the world. All our products are made in-house. We sell to large elevator companies as well as small independent service agencies. Most of these companies have been with us for over 30 years. We value our customers and treat every order with the same care, whether it be for a few inserts, or 100 guide shoes. Experience is everything in this industry, and with our employees being with us for 30+ years, they have the feel of how the wheels should turn before they are placed on the roller guide, or exactly how the gib should fit inside the shoe, or how to machine a part for a special order that will work for your job. Manufacturing Processes

ELPRO also offers the industry a convenient source for aluminum castings. Both short and long-run products, cast in sand or permanent molds. We also have a complete machine shop on site so we can pour, saw, sand, machine and assemble your mold and have a complete part ready to sell!! We use the same process with our own products and stand behind everything with an iron clad warranty!!
