Founded in 2017, our company crafts award-winning spirits in California’s Sierra Nevada foothills. We are best known for South Fork Vodka, rated 97 points in two international competitions and named USA Today’s top craft vodka distillery two years in a row. Recently, our gins, GM, and GN earned Wine Enthusiast’s “Best Buys.” Handcrafted with pristine spring water and a unique small-batch finishing process, our spirits deliver exceptional smoothness and unmatched quality.

Manufacturing Processes

Our team originated in applied physics, developing advanced ethanol refinement and purification techniques for the U.S. Department of Defense and DARPA. During that research, we pioneered methods for removing fusel oils—trace compounds that impact flavor and smoothness. In 2016, we adapted this technology for consumable spirits, leading to the launch of South Fork Vodka in 2018. Since then, our products have earned over 30 international gold medals, multiple 97-point ratings, and Wine Enthusiast “Best Buy” awards.
