R&D of this reflective insulation material was initiated in 2016. The technology is designed with high visual light transmission values combined with infrared energy reflection and low heat absorption. It is a perforated film fabricated into window shading layer.
Products and Services
The layer is included in the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory WINDOW database for use in Energy+ and the similar energy modeling methods.
