Banner Mattress is a family owned and operated California mattress manufacturer and retailer. Founded in 1926 by Italian immigrant, Rossario Scorziell, the Scorziell family has been hand crafting high quality, value branded mattresses using old world crafstmanship and new world innovations for generations. In the early 1970's with the advent of specialty retail stores, the second generation son, Eugene Scorziell, decided to change the family business model from wholesaling mattresses for sale to furniture and department stores to retailing Banner's own mattresses direct to the consumer. Banner Mattress opened up it's first retail store inside their San Bernardino, California factory. Today they have grown to more than 15 retail locations and are proud to pass on the quality, craftsmanship, and savings direct to the consumer, by cutting out the middleman!

Manufacturing Processes

Banner hand crafts each mattress one by one. They design, quilt and sew the fabrics and textiles used in every mattress. They manufacture and coil their own individually wrapped metal inner spring units in house. They source materials from the same suppliers as Sealy, Serta, Beautyrest and Stearns & Foster to delivery the best quality and price direct to the consumer, without the Middleman!
