VetPowered, LLC, formerly known as WFW Industries, LLC, was founded in 2009 to service the intersection of a highly qualified Veteran manufacturing workforce with industry needs. The Veterans at VetPowered are dedicated to bringing advanced manufacturing back to America.
With 17 employees, 11 of which are Veterans, VetPowered's vision is to create nationally recognized joint advanced manufacturing centers of excellence comprised of highly trained Veterans and Wounded Warriors dedicated to rebuilding America as the world’s hub for digital manufacturing thread and the smart manufacturing grid.
VetPowered is also a social enterprise company. Every product we make and service supports Workshops for Warriors, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to training, certifying, and placing Veterans, Wounded Warriors, and Transitioning Service Members into advanced manufacturing careers. VetPowered holds 13 patents for products such as the Casey Cleaner, an AR-10 and AR-15 cleaner, the welding wagon, welding table, and more. We are the 2015 San Diego Business Journal Manufacturing Awards Winner for Best Community Service and a finalist in the Small Company category. We were also a San Diego Chamber of Commerce Veterans Honor Roll recipient; a new initiative that recognizes businesses that hire Veterans and Military spouses.
