Scientific Cutting Tools, Inc. was established over 60 years ago as an innovative cutting tool manufacturer. SCT entered the field with state-of-the-art cutting tool designs, an inspired ambition to succeed, and one driving goal: to deliver unprecedented value to our customers.

Over the years, SCT has developed new tool lines and refined existing ones. Through aggressive research and development, SCT has the capability of developing specialized tools, as well as modifying existing tools to meet customer needs.

Products and Services

SCT has an excellent reputation as a manufacturer of an extensive line of cutting tools including thread mills, port tools, cavity tools, indexable and solid carbide boring bars, threading tools, grooving tools, and more. We stock coated (ALTiN+) and uncoated versions of our products and all carbide used in our processes must pass stringent quality tests.

Manufacturing Processes

Our manufacturing processes begin with high quality 10% micro-grain carbide. Our tools are ground to precise dimensions using CNC machines. Scientific Cutting Tools offers a full array of coatings including our high performance proprietary AlTiN coating. Stringent quality control ensures precise standards and specifications are achieved before tools are delivered to our customers.
