Currently employing 5 workers, Sea-Lap is focused on quality and customer service. We understand that lapping is often one of the last processes for a machined part. We know that you have invested a substantial amount of time and money into each part before it even reaches us. That is why our entire operation is organized around providing uncompromising quality and customer service. Since the start of 2014 we have seen our customer base double and it continues to grow.
Products and Services
Sea-Lap provides high quality flat lapping for prototypes or large runs into the thousands. We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship and customer service. Even with tight tolerance jobs (less than .0001) we routinely turn jobs around in 2-4 business days. In our constant effort to maintain 100% customer satisfaction, we are currently working on becoming AS9100 certified and expect to complete certification in June 2014.
Manufacturing Processes
With our lapping expertise, we are able to produce supreme flatness, parallelism, and brilliant surface finishes. We can easily achieve flatness of 1 helium light band over 6 inches (1 light band = .0000116), parallelism of half a micron (.00002"), and surface finishes of 2Ra.
