Access Trax

Access Trax was created by two occupational therapists in order to promote portable access to everyone regardless of terrain or ability. We strive to provide cost effective universally designed products for anyone in need.

Access Trax allows individuals to have more power over accessibility. Access Trax is a lightweight, foldable, durable pathway designed to increase access over uneven terrain such as sand, gravel, dirt, or grass. Our newest design provides universal access to wheelchair users, pedestrians, carts and strollers. With Access Trax, you can spend more time doing the things you want and need to do, instead of worrying how you'll get there.

Our patent pending technology allows Access Trax to fold, making it very easy to set up, break down, and store. The removable hinges allows users to customize the configuration of the path. Thirty feet can be laid out in under 1 minute by one able-bodied individual. When folded for storage or transport, 30 feet is approximately 3 inches thick. You can easily fit 120 feet of Access Trax into the trunk of a small car!

Products and Services

Access Trax is made from high density polyethylene (HDPE) that is UV stable and texturized for added traction. Each individual panel is 36 x 36 x 0.125 inches in length width and height, weighing 5.2 pounds. Create a pathway in any configuration desired by connecting panels with easy-to-use removable Velcro hinges. Each unit is perforated making the trax lightweight and easy to clean. Access Trax is durable enough for a vehicle such as a lifeguard truck to drive perpendicularly across it. It has also been tested with many mobility devices such as power chairs, walkers, canes, and baby strollers.

In addition to product sales, Access Trax offers event rental services. We cater to family outdoor adventures as well as large multi-day events with the same attention and care.
