Newton Heat Treating has been serving the Aerospace Industry since 1968. We have 65 employees and provide heat treatment, cold stabilization, and thermal processing of aluminum alloys.

Newton Heat Treating is a NADCAP and ISO 9001/AS9100 certified company that specializes in the heat treatment and cold stabilization of aluminum alloys. Our cold stabilization process is unmatched in the industry and has proven to solve machining problems for many part configurations.  All of our equipment is made and purchased in the U.S.

Manufacturing Processes

Our cold stabilization process is highly effective by the use of a liquid nitrogen soak followed by a steam pressure shock to the material. Using this method, stress introduced into the material during heat treatment is reversed to the highest degree possible. By removing material stress, part movement during machining is minimized to a great extent.
