ESL Power Systems, Inc.

In 1991, ESL began as a custom control panel shop in Yorba Linda, CA. Over the years, ESL emerged as a manufacturer of safety-interlocked reefer outlets, and developed cord-connected electrical power equipment for a variety of industrial and commercial applications. Thirteen years after its founding, ESL moved to a facility in Corona, CA.

ESL Power Systems, Inc. is one of the largest manufacturers of reefer outlets worldwide supporting the intermodal container industry and port terminals. ESL is known as the best-in-class builders of Ship-to-Shore Power Mounds, Company Switches for Set Stage applications, and also for our UL1008 Listed Emergency Power product line for back-up power during grid outages. In addition, ESL is the premier Custom Control panel Builder in Southern California and offers UL508A, UL698A, UL1203, UL231, UL1682, and UL1008 listing capabilities.

Manufacturing Processes

ESL‰ŰŞs in-house sheet metal custom fabrication shop affords customers flexibility when designing a product. Since cabinets and assemblies can be quickly designed in Solid Works and then fabricated to meet the customers‰ŰŞ needs, ESL is not constrained to rely on outside fabricators or off-the-shelf enclosures to fit components. ESL‰ŰŞs fabrication shop offers shearing CNC turret punch press, CNC press break (125 ton), CNC machining (mill & lathe), Tig & Mig welding, spot welding, iron working (60 tons) and grinding and line graining.
