The Power Trim Company got its start in the early 1950s when Roy Dykes and his son, Jim, began hand forming and welding gasoline powered lawn edger frames in Compton, California. In the years that followed, the Power Trim name became synonymous with quality and service. Currently located in Cypress, we are a third generation family owned and operated business.

Products and Services

Power Trim manufactures 5 models of wheeled gasoline powered lawn edgers equipped with either Briggs & Stratton or Honda engines. Our edgers are built to last with high quality materials which are why they are the preferred choice of many commercial gardeners and groundskeepers in the U.S. and abroad.

Manufacturing Processes

Power Trim edgers use an all steel base plate, steel wheels with solid rubber tires, and permanently sealed lifetime lubricated cutter head bearing assemblies. Parts are manufactured using heavy gauge metals and tubing and all painted parts are powder-coated with the finest baked urethane finish for maximum protection against weather deterioration.
