At Precision Measurement Engineering (PME), our mission is to manufacture innovative and reliable instrumentation that allow our customers to collect measurements in water.
We are a small family-owned business with over 30 years of experience. Our founder, Dr. Michael J Head, began PME with the development of a small micro-scale conductivity sensor. We now manufacture and design a variety of instrumentation from small loggers to larger monitoring systems. All of our products are specifically created to work in water, for a long time.
The miniWIPER is a self-contained, completely submersible, wiping device that can be used with a variety of sensors. It can be programmed to wipe at various intervals, and is powered from two AA Lithium batteries. The wiper is used as an anti-fouling device and prevents various organisms from growing on the sensor and interfering with data.
The real-time T-Chain is a combination product of PME's multi-sensor water column monitoring instrument and the end-to-end remote monitoring Ayyeka Wavelet system. The wavelet collects T-Chain data and telemeters them to a customer computer via GSM telemetry.
The C-sense Logger is a submersible, portable device that records pCO2 over a period of time. Data are collected at a variety of sample rates, selected by the customer, and stored internally.
The 125MicroScale Conductivity and Temperature Instrument (MSCTI) is designed to measure the electrical conductivity and temperature of solutions containing conductive ions. The MSCTI makes rapid, small spatial resolution measurements of both parameters in laboratory situations.
The T-Chain is a long electrical cable containing temperature sensors and possibly other sensors at specific intervals. T-Chain will emit calibrated measurements via RS232 or RS485.
